‘The Wendy Williams Show’ was declared to have come to an end this June after the producers deemed that the star was no longer fit to continue with the show.
After all, her legal battle with Wells Fargo was testament to that after they reportedly froze her bank account on the basis that she was not of sound mind, thus needing a guardianship.
And after having gotten Sherri Shepherd to step into Wendy’s shows, the chances of her returning look impossible. A source said: “Where’s she gonna go? It’s done. Logistically, it won’t work. Sherri has her time slots.”
Nevertheless, Wendy had a different take on the matter. And by the looks of it, she is not the biggest fan of Sherri. During a frank conversation with ‘Fat Joe,’ one of the people who had been filling in for Wendy, she informed the rapper that she was definitely coming back.
So much so that she felt the rapper was one of the few people that she would feel comfortable in covering for her. In her comments at the time, Wendy remarked: “I’m coming back to ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’ Absolutely. Absolutely.
“I love being on my own show, and I love that people love to watch it all the time.” The fans on social media were delighted at the prospect that Wendy could be returning. People were of the view that the show was never the same since she left.
One person wrote: “Thank the lord.” Time will tell whether Wendy does come back, but given everything then we have seen so far, the chances of a legal battle ensuing are not far off if there continues to be a stand-off.
