Despite Prince Harry’s statement that the Royal Family had no interest in making amends with him, sources close to the firm have asserted that his father, King Charles III, extended an invitation for him to come for the holidays.
Sources Deny Prince Harry’s Claims That The Royal Family Don’t Want To Reconcile
Harry remarked that his father and brother, Prince William, had no intention of patching things up. However, those in the know at Buckingham Palace have dismissed these assertions, dubbing them as “nonsense” and mentioning that Harry and Meghan Markle were warmly welcomed to join the rest of the Royal Family this Christmas.
This is even though the couple came out with a jaw-dropping docuseries on Netflix that was full of criticisms towards the monarchy. A source confirmed the following: “It takes some audacity to say that when his father invited him to stay at his house when in the UK, invited him to spend Christmas with the rest of the family and continued to make public statements of support.”
Some royal observers have speculated that the existing strained relations between Harry and the rest of the Royal Family could become worse after the launch of his memoir.
Those familiar with the situation are apprehensive that the Duke of Sussex and his brother, the Prince of Wales, may not make up after Harry’s book is published, which is expected to include scathing remarks about William and his wife Kate Middleton. Regardless of what the case may be, it is clear that King Charles III has been left reeling.
The following comments confirmed as much: “[The King] has been saddened that he hasn’t had the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren. He has always left the door open for his son and will continue to do so.”
The longer the feud continues, then the worse the relations will become. And that cannot be a good thing moving forward. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
