Soulja Boy, otherwise known as DeAndre Cortez Way, has downplayed any suggestions that he does not get on with Kanye West.
Soulja Boy Downplays Suggestions That He Has Fallen Out With Kanye West-‘Me And Ye Is All Good’
The news of a fall out first emerged when Soulja Boy had decided to comment on the public drama that was Kanye’s social media attacks on Pete Davidson and his ex Kim Kardashian.
The rapper did not pull any punches, as he mocked Kanye over the fact that Pete had managed to step in and take his place.
In a statement at the time, Soulja Boy remarked: “Kanye wake up – Skete got yo b**** n****. What you gonna do? Is you gon’ keep posting memes of Marvel vs. Capcom?
“Or you gonna lay the smackdown?’ Now you running around Hollywood, crying like a b**** … “Help me” … F*** you, Kanye!” That clearly did not go down very well with Kanye, who had decided to respond in kind.
The rapper let Soulja Boy know that he was not going to have anybody mocking him, which is why replied: “This Ye. Don’t bring up me or my wife no more.” Nevertheless, things have cooled down since then.
Reports indicate that Kanye had offered to send Soulja Boy his Stem Player, the music platform where his new album ‘Donda 2’ will be sold exclusively. Not only that, Kanye had also offered the star a chance to appear on the new album.
And now it seems that things are all good between the pair. In a statement, Soulja Boy said: “Listen. Me and Ye is all good. Just a lil friendly jokes and fun. Don’t think I’m against him.
“We spoke we gon figure things out. We both two smart individuals chasing our dreams. We both act a lil crazy sometimes but we know what we doing. It’s all love never get it confused.”
This is welcome news for Kanye, as the last thing that he needs is to create further feuds with people on social media. He has done enough of that already, and it was clear in the aftermath that this had backfired as shown by the negative perception he has received as a result.
