Sofia Richie’s relationship with Elliot Grainge continues to go on strong as their relationship moves onto the next stage.
Sofia Richie’s Relationship With Elliot Grainge Is ‘Getting Serious’
The duo reportedly got to know each other at the beginning of this year, and a really good friendship has developed into something more. A source revealed: “They started out as friends before they became a couple, and are now getting serious. Their relationship took off, and they have been getting closer and closer and spend practically every day together.”
Sofia’s family could be forgiven for not being so welcome to Elliot, given her prior relationship experiences. After all, she broke up with Scott Disick when things seemed to be going really well. And yet, Sofia’s family has been anything but that. They have totally embraced Elliot and are pleased by him. The source added: “He’s super sweet and a really cool guy — her friends and family approve!
“She loves that he’s low-key and isn’t someone who craves the spotlight. They like to be homebodies but also enjoy going out together.” The relationship did, though, come out of the blue. After her break up from Scott, Sofia was advised by her family to focus on herself. That is why rumoured relationships with Gil Ofer and Matthew Morton failed to materialise into something serious.
A previous source had said: “[Sofia’s family has] been advising her to do her own thing, especially during the quarantine. Sofia’s family think she is way better off without [Scott]. She has been separating herself from the equation.” But having done some soul searching, Sofia seems to be in a better place. And her career is going great too.
Sofia’s stock as a model has been steadily rising ever since her big break in 2014. And she has benefitted from various endorsement deals, which even include the brand Cheetos. But for all the success that Sofia has been experiencing, how about Elliot?
He, too, is successful in his own right and is the owner of a record label. Her father, Lionel Richie, is unlikely to disapprove of that since he was one of the biggest musicians to have ever lived. It is great to see the couple in such a happy place, and long may that continue.
