Meri Brown and Kody Brown are not over despite what the former had said concerning her current husband.
‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: Meri Brown And Kody Brown Are Not Over!
In an interview with Us Weekly, Marie sought to clear up her comments and show that the relationship was not dead just quite yet. She said: “That was a little bit taken out of context. It was not me saying, ‘This is over, I’m done.’ What it was, was me saying where we were and what had happened was done and over, and now we need to figure out a new normal for us [and] figure us out.”
The process of working things out, though, has not been easy. This has been compounded by the fact that Kody has four wives. Added to that, Kody has been vocal on the communication problems he and Meri have been suffering from. And yet, Meri still sees a future. She added: “The way I look at it is it’s a matter of, like, am I going to stick through it with him when he’s having a dark time?
“And is he going to stick through it with me when I’m having a dark time? Are we going to figure it out because we made this commitment and, like, how do we move forward with where we’re at?” The importance of working things out is even more critical as Kody and Marie have a daughter together, Marie. Although she is 25 and most likely capable of being independent, it is never too easy to see families having disputes.
While Kody has ruled out pursuing a divorce outright, he has ,nevertheless, stressed that his wives’ were free to go should they please. And it is with that in mind that, Meri decided to stay with Kody. She continued: “Any improvement that we can make on the relationship between me and him, I think it would be great. This is my family. This is where I made the commitment. And this is where I am.”
It is good to see Meri and Kody sticking by each other in the face of such difficulties. Let us hope that they can work things out.
