It looks like Kody Brown has been finding it difficult to carry on his polygamous marriage.
‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown May Have Had Enough Of Polygamy
The star has always stressed the benefits of polygamy, which is why he has four wives. And yet, it seems the energy that is expended to keep the family unit together is starting to take its toll on him. During an episode of Sister Wives, Kody was heard saying: “I feel immense pressure all the time for satisfying the emotional needs of a wife that I have sometimes no interest in satisfying.
“I have a wife who, I think, will never be happy. Basically, in all the years that I thought we were happy, she wasn’t.” So who was Kody referring to? The first name on the lips would be Meri Brown, given that the duo’s problems have been so well-publicised. However, it was exactly the opposite. Kody has now started to experience issues with Christine Brown. Just like Meri’s issues had been spanning over the years, the same could be said of that with Christine.
During the same episode, Christine said: “We’ve had a rough relationship for a couple of years. Plural marriage is a challenge that she doesn’t enjoy. I’ll be frank, plural marriage is not a challenge that I enjoy.” This raised the obvious question, why is Kody still continuing in this marital arrangement? It looks as though the penny may finally be starting to drop. If Kody does have a change of heart and walk away, it may be the final straw that convinces the others to do the same.
He stated: “It makes me wonder if people wouldn’t just — who have been happy for so many years — couldn’t just leave and find something that made them happy instead of sitting and badgering me… This is not what I want. This isn’t what I signed up for.”
With all four of Kody’s wives having expressed dissatisfaction at some point, perhaps it is the best thing for everyone to go their separate ways. The only thing getting in the way could be the financial consequences and the children who would undoubtedly be stuck in the middle.
