She’s ready to say her peace. There’s a new report that says Sharon Osbourne will speak with Bill Maher in her first interview since exiting The Talk after her heated and emotional debate with Sheryl Underwood, which resulted in her getting the boot from the show.
This comes after Sharon received a massive payout from The Talk following her controversial and emotional debate about racism with her former co-host Sherryl Underwood. Here’ what you need to know.
Sharon Osbourne Will Speak To Bill Maher In First Interview After Leaving The Talk
As many fans know by now, Sharon criticized when she defended her showbiz pal Piers Morgan over the comments he made about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex during an on-air debate, and Osbourne “didn’t watch the show” after it returned to air following almost a month’s hiatus. And now she’s ready to tell her side of the story.
The in-studio appearance with Bill Maher will occur at the beginning of the episode and will be followed by a panel discussion with Eurasia Group and GZERO Media President Ian Bremmer as well as Georgetown University law professor and author Rosa Brooks.
It was earlier reported that Sharon is expected to receive somewhere between $5 million and $10 million for walking away from The Talk. Not only that, but Sharon “was able to spin that it was her decision” not to stay.
“Sharon Osbourne has decided to leave The Talk,” CBS said in a statement at the time. “The events of the March 10 broadcast were upsetting to everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace.”
