Shanna Moakler has retracted comments she made recently by confirming that she is not in fact pregnant after all.

This is another twist in the tail with regards to her dynamics with her ex-boyfriend Matthew Rondeau. The pair went their separate ways in the aftermath of Matthew’s arrest for domestic violence.
This had arrived on the back end of him accusing Shanna of being unfaithful, which she denied. Although they were pictured together ‘hanging out’ in the aftermath of his arrest, it is not clear what this news will mean for them going forward.
In an interview with Page Six, she said: “OK, I am not pregnant. I received a false positive test due to the fact I had taken a hormone called HCG to help me lose weight for ‘Big Brother. It is the same hormone that is produced when a woman is pregnant resulting in the false positive.”
While Shanna may be disappointed for not being pregnant, given that she has not ruled out having more kids in the future, she may have had a lucky escape for the following reasons.
First of all, there is no need for her to have any ties with Matthew. After all, it is clear that they are not compatible, so the fact that they do not have kids together has made it easier for her to walk away.
Secondly, given that Shanna has been through a lot of late, the last thing that she needed to worry about was having a baby. The response on social media, however, was very brutal towards Shanna.
People slammed the model for retracting her comments, with some even suggesting it was a publicity stunt. One person wrote: “She was never pregnant. Ever since I was a kid I remember her pulling stuff like this.
“She has been an attention seeker all my life and now I’m in my late 20’s. She is incredibly toxic. We have to stop giving narcissists platforms.” The best thing that Shanna can do now is take a step back and decide what she wants to do with her life going forward. So there you have it folks.
