Shanna Moakler has spoken out following her ex-husband Travis Barker’s marriage to Kourtney Kardashian.

The couple finally ended up walking down the aisle to make things official after having previously been denied the chance to do so, as their Vegas ceremony was declared to be not legally binding, as a result of having no marriage licence.
With that being said, Shanna had nothing but warm words for the couple, who are now focused on the next chapter of their lives. In a statement, she said: “I wish them the best. They both look truly happy and I am pleased and excited for them as they embark on this new journey.”
This statement is hardly a surprise, as Shanna has spoken about how well she has been getting on with Travis with regards to their co-parenting. They do have children together, but in the earlier parts of Travis’ time with Kourtney, Shanna was not impressed.
This was on the basis that she felt the Kardashian was interfering with her daughter, Alabama, to the point where the latter came out to brand Shanna as being ‘absent’ from her life.
Despite things having improved in that regard, there is no denying that Shanna’s own love life is a mess. Her split from Mathew Rondeau was clouded by his arrest from domestic violence amid claims he had made about the model cheating.
Although Shanna denied being unfaithful, it was not enough to keep the relationship together. Her misery was then compounded after she confirmed that she was pregnant with Mathew’s baby only to then retract her comments by stating that the test had produced a false result.
And yet, it is possible to question the authenticity of Shanna’s comments. After all, she had accused Travis of having an affair with Kourtney while they were married. With that being said, Shanna may have concealed her real feelings on the matter.
