Shanna Moakler Praises Her Son Landon Barker On His 19th Birthday-‘You Are A Star’
The model shares her son with Travis Barker, as they co-parent together, following their split. And as part of that process, the duo have managed to work out their differences by putting their children first, despite reported tensions that Travis’ relationship with Kourtney Kardashian may have been hampering things.
With that being said, Shanna shared some warm words for her son. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Shanna shared a picture of herself holding Landon when he was a very young boy.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “You are a star seed! You’re light! No one will ever stop my love for you Happy bday!! No one will take the love of my children away. My son. My love.”
Shanna has come a long way with her children lately. Just last year, her children were very vocal about what they perceived to be a lack of a bond with their mother. That naturally did not sit very well with Shanna, as the children appeared to have a stable relationship with Travis.
And as that was aired publicly, this was very hard for her to take. In some comments at the time, Shanna remarked: “I’m not really sure why my kids put that out there. I’m their mother. I love them. It’s hurtful and heartbreaking to have your kids say that when … clearly that’s false. It’s a false claim.”
As of now, Landon is moving on to the next stage of his life. He is currently in a relationship with Charli D’amelio, the latter who is making some serious headlines with her performances on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’
