Members from the ‘Sex and the City’ franchise have come out and responded to the sexual assault allegations that have been directed towards Chris Noth.

‘Sex and the City’: Cast Speak Out Following Chris Noth’s Sexual Assault Allegations-‘We Are Deeply Saddened’

Chris, for his part, has been accused of sexual assault by three women so far. Although he denied doing anything of the sort, the very fact of the matter is that his cause has not been helped for the following reasons.

First of all, Zoe Lister-Jones who happens to have seen Chris on a TV set, also came out and expressed concerns about his inappropriate behaviour towards women.

As such, this suggests that there is evidence outside of the initial claims that Chris has a history of behaving inappropriately.

Secondly, Chris has also suffered by the fact that brands have distanced themselves from him. Just recently, he was dropped from his talent agency as well as being cut from a TV commercial alongside Ryan Reynolds and exercise company, Peloton.

In response, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have come out to give their opinion on the matter. In a joint statement, they remarked: “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences.” Naturally, the statement was very direct on not mentioning Chris in any light.

This is understandable, given that an investigation is going on and therefore it would be wise to remain as neutral as possible until further evidence is uncovered.

Not only that, but because the allegations have been put forward by women, it is hardly surprising to see the female stars supporting women’s rights.

And yet, the statement recognised that it must have been very difficult for the victims to come forward and speak out against this especially since the alleged claims seem to have happened a long time ago.

The statement added: “We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.” The sooner that this investigation is over, the better it is for everybody as all the answers will be revealed.
