‘Selling Sunset’ star Jason Oppenheim is reportedly still in love with Chrishell Stause despite their recent split.
Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald Claims That Jason Oppenheim Is Still In Love With Chrishell Stause
That is according to fellow star of the show Mary Fitzgerald. The duo decided to split up after dating for around 5 months. Although the split was out of the blue, the very fact of the matter is that they were not able to iron out their differences.
It is claimed that Chrishell was insistent on having children and starting a family, while Jason was not able to fully commit to that idea. But that does not mean that Jason is not fond of her though.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Mary said: “He still loves her. He’s madly in love with her.” If these comments are taken to be true, then it is not surprising for the following reasons.
First of all, the duo had stated after their split that they would still be on good terms. Naturally, there is bound to be some affection still present especially since this break-up is very fresh.
Secondly, given the perception that the other castmates had of the former couple, they were even taken aback by the fact that they decided to part ways. Mary added: “I was surprised. It’s sad because I love them together.”
This begs the question, is there any chance of a reconciliation for the pair? Well, it looks as though this is unlikely to happen unless Jason changes his mind on starting a family.
And outside of anything to the contrary, it looks as though he has made the decision that he cannot compromise on this. That is the primary reason why a reconciliation has most likely been ruled out.
Mary stated: “I think he was trying to make sure, like, that [he had] an option if he was able to get himself on board with it. He just realized it’s not for him. I think, at the end of the day, he didn’t feel it was right.”
With time, Jason will be able to move on and focus on trying to find somebody else to settle down with. And a person that ultimately shares the same vision as him.
