Brett Oppenheim, who happens to be the brother of Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim, has responded to the rumours that his brother’s relationship with Chrishell Stause was fabricated.

Jason and Chrishell split up after only being together in public for around 5-months. The news was very shocking, especially since everything seemed to be going well.
This was even in light of criticism that Chrishell was only doing well on the show because of her romance with Jason, who happened to be her boss.
But Brett rejected the claims that their relationship was only done to garner extra publicity for the current season. In an interview with TMZ, Brett said: “My brother and Chrishell love each other more than Jason has probably loved anybody.”
Brett’s comments do have some validity in light of what Jason had said at the time of the break up. He admitted that they would continue to remain on good terms and would not let the break up get in the way of anything.
Although this could be just done for the sake of making sure that their TV careers were intact, until we know otherwise, it is safe to give Jason and Chrishell the benefit of the doubt.
In an official statement at the time, Jason remarked: “While Chrishell and I are no longer together, we remain best friends and we will always love and support one another.
“She was the most amazing girlfriend I’ve ever had, and it was the happiest and most fulfilling relationship of my life.”
Nevertheless, the response on social media was one of suspicion. People simply felt that it was too much of a coincidence that they got together before the start of the fifth season and then announced the split as the season was ending.
Despite the constant speculation that was going around, Brett had nothing but good words to say about Chrishell. His following comments confirmed as much: “Love you Chrishell. Thank you for making my brother happy.”
