With the impending launch of the Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry’s memoir, the level of security measures surpass those that were in place for the publishing of the last Harry Potter book sixteen years ago, according to reports.

A comprehensive logistics initiative is currently happening in relation to the memoir of Harry, known as Spare. The Duke and the publisher Penguin Random House are taking extensive measures to guarantee the book is released around the globe on Tuesday, 10th January 2022.

Harry’s memoir is predicted to be more intense in his criticism of the monarchy. King Charles III may escape the most extreme of the Duke’s criticism, however, the book is known to contain unflattering information about his conflict with his brother, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

Penguin Random House states that Spare will relate Harry’s tale with ‘raw, unflinching honesty.’ It is rumoured that the Sussexes have agreed to a $20 million four-book contract with the publishing conglomerate.

Publishing sources also confirmed that the plans for launching Harry’s “explosive” autobiography were kept highly confidential, with only a select team of executives aware of the specifics.

To prevent any unauthorised copies from getting out, the deliveries to book stores will be made at the last minute. Furthermore, secure facilities in various locations around the world have been designated to store the book before it is distributed.

The response on social media, though, was damning. This was on the basis that people felt Harry’s memoir could not be comparable to the Harry Potter franchise since the latter was a global bestseller.

One person wrote: “Oh give me break. Prince Harry is no Harry Potter,” while another person stated: “Wrong who would want to buy a 25 pound book of complaint people are struggling to eat ! To heat their homes.” Time will tell how Harry’s memoir ends up being received.
