Sean Penn was reportedly pulled over by a sheriff after he was caught driving in Malibu with his customised car that was made with a police-style bull bar.

The Hollywood actor recently returned to the United States after having been in Ukraine during the war with Russia. While he would have been relieved to make it out of the country and get home in one piece, the last thing that he wanted to do was get involved with the authorities.
Reports state that the officer had pulled Sean over on the Pacific Coast Highway. It is not clear whether the actor had also been given a speeding ticket, but the following pictures show that it was enough of an issue.
And outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, the sheriff may have wondered why would someone have a car resembling that of a police car. As such, this could have led to some suspicion over Sean’s conduct.
In the pictures here, we can see that Sean and the Sheriff are in conversation as they reach a mutual understanding. But for all his troubles, this is not the first time that Sean has been involved with some issues when it comes to cars.
During his time exiting Ukraine along the Polish order, the actor admitted that he and his colleagues had to leave their vehicle behind. While Sean is not short of money, it was something that played on his mind given the huge amount of people he had seen being stuck in cars as they made their way out of Ukraine.
In a statement at the time, he remarked: “Myself & two colleagues walked miles to the Polish border after abandoning our car on the side of the road. Almost all the cars in this photo carry women & children only, most without any sign of luggage, and a car their only possession of value.”
As long as Sean has learnt from this incident, then that is the most important thing. And moving forward, it is probably wise that he drives something more low-key in order to avoid getting the attention of the authorities.
