Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin got some much-needed time away from the media scrutiny that has been following their relationship.

Speculation continues to mount over whether the relationship can last, given the significant age gap between the pair. Amelia is barely over the age of 18, while Scott is a father of three kids and approaching his forties. Nevertheless, they continue to defy the critics.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, he shared a picture of himself and Amelia as she is lying on him. They are sitting on a boat, which is speeding through the sea as they both look on. The post was captured by the following comments: “Hermès only to swim.”
The trip was also significant for another reason. The couple were accompanied by Scott’s daughter Penelope. The latter, as well as his other kids, have reportedly been getting on very well with Amelia. Naturally, she could be viewed as being a role model for the children.
That can only aid and strengthen their relationship as it show’s Amelia is ready to take on a role as a stepmother to the kids. In another social media post, Scott shared a picture of himself and Penelope on the boat as they cuddle each other.
This has raised questions about whether Amelia would want to have children herself. After all, she is still very young, and it may be a possibility at some point in the future. As for Scott, he is not really going to want any more as he is not getting any younger.
That is why Amelia’s mother, Lisa Rinna, was taken aback by their relationship. At the time of the news, she had remarked: “It’s a what the f—k moment. You’re like, ‘What the f—k?’ She’s 19. He’s 37 with three kids. We’re thinking it’s a phase, right? It’s a phase. I don’t want to bring attention to it.”
But for now, let us hope the pair can continue to work things out between each other. That is going to be the only way for them to silence the haters. Time will tell whether they do just that.
