Sarah Ferguson Celebrates Global Parent Day

British Royal Family News says that while there are a lot of things that can be said about someone like Sarah Ferguson, there’s no denying that she is someone who always tries to give back whenever she can. The Duchess of York recently announced that she is launching her new charitable foundation, Sarah’s Trust, in the hopes that she can help make an impactful and long-lasting change on vulnerable communities. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the Daily Mail, Sarah says that she plans to connect financially able individuals and charities in need of funds. She has also personally funded hundreds of donations for NHS frontline workers in the UK.

Sarah also describes The Trust as a “vital bridge” between individuals with social responsibility and the financial ability to give philanthropically with charities in need. So far, the Duchess of Cornwall says that she has organized more than 150,000 individual deliveries to over 80 locations across the country and that she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Speaking out about her efforts to help those that have been on the frontline during the global coronavirus pandemic, Sarah said, “It has been humbling to be able to see just a little bit of the incredible work being done by our NHS and other health workers and I’m proud that, working with my daughters and new colleagues at Sarah’s Trust, we’ve been able to make life a little easier for some of them.”

While Sarah Ferguson has certainly been busy with her charitable work, the rest of the British royal family has been slammed for ‘hiding in castles’ while many other European royals have already been out and about in public, helping those affected by the coronavirus pandemic get back on their feet.
