Associates of the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, reported that she has committed herself to doing whatever is necessary for Prince Andrew to remain at his current residence.

Sarah Ferguson Is Determined To Keep Andrew In His Home-‘Going To Try And Raise The Money’

According to reports, for two decades, Andrew has been residing at a house situated in Windsor. This had been funded via the firm, which has now been called into question because of his recent sexual assault allegations.

He has been avoiding public attention ever since he was deprived of his royal titles and came to an out-of-court agreement with Virginia Giuffre a year ago. Recent reports indicate that King Charles III is thinking about taking away the financial grant that Andrew receives which was supervised by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

If the duke’s financial support is reduced, he will not have the funds to manage the estate. And given that it has so much history, this estate was the venue for both his daughter’s nuptials, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice, Sarah appears to be doing everything in her power to keep him there.

A source confirmed the following: “Sarah is going to try and raise the money he needs. She and the girls want to do all they can to keep Andrew where he is as it is seen as a significant loss of status for him to lose his home.”

And yet, any chances of the firm going back on that decision appear slim. Since Charles is not the most popular monarch, after having been targeted by eggs on two occasions already, it would be a bad move to back Andrew in light of his poor public opinion.

That is why Ferguson understands the decision that has been made. The following comments confirmed as much: “She totally accepts that with a change of reign will come a change in circumstances and she supports King Charles entirely.”
