Sam Asghari has joked about the restrictions that he and his girlfriend Britney Spears have been facing as part of their conservatorship dispute.
Sam Asghari Jokingly Reveals That He ‘Has Been Married For About Five Years’ To Britney Spears
Britney had dropped a major bombshell to the court when she confirmed that she was prevented from marrying Sam, as well as having children with him. Naturally, when this came out, public opinion swayed against Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, even further.
In response to the revelations, though, Sam took it in a tongue in cheek manner. In an interview with TMZ, he joked: “People don’t know, but we’ve been married for about five years. You know, we secretly got married in Hawaii. And we have twins.”
Despite the comical comment, it is no secret that Sam wants to be a father. He has previously spoken about his desire to have a family, despite the fact that Britney already has two children. And given that they have been together for five years, marriage or children is bound to be under discussion.
Sources have confirmed as much: “Sam would love to start a family with Britney. He’s always dreamt of having children and thinks he would be a great father. He’s a natural around little kids.” So the question is will it happen? Well, that all depends on the outcome of the conservatorship battle.
A wedding cannot realistically happen before this is resolved in order to prevent any interference. We only have to look at Briteny’s previous marriage to her ex-husband Jason Alexander. The latter previously disclosed how he was tricked into signing documents to annul his marriage to Britney.
This was on the condition that he would be allowed to still pursue a relationship with Britney. But, of course, this was not the case.
That is why Sam is waiting for the right moment. The source added: “Sam also sees marriage in his and Britney’s future when the time is right and they are able to wed without the restraints of her conservatorship. He’s very old-fashioned in that way.” There is still plenty of time for Sam and Britney to walk down the aisle. We will have to see how this will all play out.
