Sam Asghari, the husband of Britney Spears, denied a story that suggested the singer had a breakdown while at a restaurant.
Sam Asghari Denies Claims Britney Spears Had An Episode At A Restaurant-‘Don’t Believe What You Read Online People’
TMZ reported that Spears had caused some uproar at Joey in Woodland Hills, California, during dinner. According to onlookers, the 41-year-old was behaving in a manic state and speaking total nonsense, and Asghari stormed off in annoyance.
Nevertheless, a video taken from the scene showed the singer holding a menu over her face and didn’t show her being irrational or her beau leaving abruptly. A manager from the restaurant refused to give details regarding the couple’s notorious dinner.
With that being said, Sam wanted to let everyone know in no uncertain terms that Britney did not go through an episode. In his comments, he said: “Don’t believe what you read online people.” In response to the incident, Spears initially made a video on Instagram in which she decided to stick her middle finger up towards the camera.
It was obvious that she had endured a lot after having been in a conservatorship for nearly 14 years, which allowed her estranged dad, Jamie Spears, to manage her personal, medical, and financial affairs. And yet, an employee at the restaurant played down claims that Britney was out of control.
The following comments confirmed as much: “The disruptor wasn’t Britney — it was the diner who taunted her by taking a video without consent.” The fans on social media were not convinced by what Sam had to say.
A certain subset of people were of the view that Sam had a lot to lose if he did admit that Britney was going through a lot. One person wrote: “Of course he is going to say that, Britney is his meal ticket,” while another person stated: “LOL…he’s got to protect his honey pot, lord knows if she goes back into conservatorship.”
