Alec Baldwin has thanked his fans in what has been a really difficult year for the actor.

Alec’s prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’ which killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins has dominated the headlines to the extent that there are concerns whether he will ever be able to return to the movie screens again.
With the current investigation failing to hold anybody to account, it has naturally been a tough time for Alec who has been the centre of attention. That is why he was on hand to make sure that he thanked all those who stood by him.
In a post to his fans on social media, he said: “I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the people who sent me such kind words and best wishes and strength and hope and prayers, thoughts and lots of encouragement.”
With the New Year on the horizon, it is hard to see that it could be any worse for Alec given how much he is being subjected to by way of media intrusion already. And that is something that he is hoping will disappear, especially in light of the fact that he does have 6 children.
Although there is nothing to suggest that the investigation is going to be concluded soon, the very fact of the matter is that at some point this case has to be put to an end.
He added: “I’m looking forward to some aspects of this being behind me, of course. For everyone who is involved in this, it’ll never be behind us because someone died so tragically.
With that in mind, Alec is hoping that he can spend more time with his family who have also had to bear the brunt of the media scrutiny that has followed. And with Christmas and New Year upon us, there is no better time to do that.
He continued: “It’s true, I only care about my wife and my kids and moving forward with my life and trying to get through a tough time, a really tough time.”
