Royal sources say that for Kate Middleton’s 42nd birthday, she is set to receive a promotion of the highest Order.

The Princess of Wales is next in line to be the Queen of England, as her husband, Prince William, will be King one day. The responsibilities of their royal duties have been increasing ever since Queen Elizabeth passed.

Kate Middleton May Soon Receive An Upgrade to Royal Lady of the Order of the Garter

There is much speculation about what is next in store for Princess Catharine. She may soon get a royal upgrade to Royal Lady of the Order of the Garter. King Edward III established this special title in 1348.

    Kate Middleton's new title

The royal tale is a romantic one as old as time itself. King Edward III danced with the Countess of Salisbury during a ball at Windsor Castle.

The Countess dropped a blue garter, and the King bent down to pick it up. The nearby dancers were all snickering, quick to stoop to impure assumptions, which infuriated the King.

He picked up the garter and bellowed, “Shame to him you thinks evil of it.” The King inaugurated the Order of the Garter with a feast and joust.

The King personally chooses the appointment for exemplary service to the crown. This role would solidify her place alongside Queen Camilla and the Royal Knights, including her husband, Prince William.

The Order of the Garter is one of Britain’s oldest and most senior roles. It is an honor and a privilege to receive this title. Prince William received his Order of the Garter knighthood in 2008.

Kate usually observes the annual Garter Day procession as the King and his Knights and Ladies travel from Windsor Castle to St. George’s Chapel in their historic medieval attire of beautiful velvet robes and plumed hats.

Kate Has Loyally Served the Monarchy for Well Over a Decade

Many senior royals believe that Kate deserves to be bestowed this honor. Kate has given loyal service for well over a decade.

There is also chatter that the Prince and Princess of Wales will be afforded the power to issue their Royal Warrants for the first time.

The King must determine who will receive these covetable marks. British businesses whose companies are officially endorsed by the Princess of Wales would benefit greatly.

It would boost the British industry and generate much interest. The King will give  Kate and William this power if he decides it is best.

Kate and William sharing a private moment

Kate tirelessly gives herself to the monarchy and the Commonwealth. She also has the monumental task of raising the future British King, Prince George, as well as her other two children, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.

Kate champions many causes, like childhood development and several others relating to children. She participates in charities close to her heart.

Like her husband, the Princess of Wales is also interested in taking on a more active role in social leadership.

Kate’s patient and persistent approach to her royal life will help guide her in future endeavors. She is set and ready to have a very fruitful royal career.
