British Royal Family News says that Prince Harry is still holding on to the one last regret he had before his mother Princess Diana passed away over two decades ago. Here’s what he has to say.
During the documentary, Our Mother Diana: Her Life and Legacy, Prince Harry opened up about the pain of losing his mother and the last phone call they had before her death back in August of 1997. Harry was just 12-years-old during the time of her death while his older brother Prince William was 15 when Diana died in a car crash in Paris.

Harry said that when his mother called, he was too busy playing with his cousins during their yearly retreat to Balmoral. If he would have known that it was the last time he would speak to his mother, he wouldn’t have cut the phone conversation so short.
“If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother the things that I would – the things I would have said to her,” Prince Harry said.
“So there’s, you know, there’s a lot of — there’s a lot of grief that still needs to be let out,” he said.
Prince Harry continued: “There’s not a day that William and I don’t wish that she was still around, and we wonder what kind of a mother she would be now, and what kind of a public role she would have, and what a difference she would be making.”
