The Royal Family is allegedly taking all precautions when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attendance at King Charles III’s Coronation.

Royal Family Has Three Plans For Harry And Meghan’s Response To King Charles III’s Coronation- Says Royal Expert Kinsey Schofield

According to reports, the pair have been invited to attend the Coronation that is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023. This is despite the fact that the couple have been very vocal in speaking out against the firm.

This was seen through their Netflix docuseries, as well as Harry’s memoir, Spare. While it is not clear if the Sussexes will take up the invite, one thing for sure is that the firm is pulling out all the stops to make sure that they have all bases covered.

This is a tricky situation since the Sussexes’ attendance could lead to further comments by them in the aftermath. After all, they have shown their tendency to speak to the media. Meanwhile, their absence could also backfire, if they were to address it publicly.

With that being said, this is what royal expert Kinsey Schofield had to say: “The palace is planning for three separate scenarios: Harry and Meghan show up; only Harry shows up or neither show up.

“They’ve asked everybody to RSVP as quickly as possible – early April – so they’re trying to plan so that King Charles is the focus of the Coronation.” Despite that being the case, it is important to bear in mind the following point.

The Coronation just so happens to be on the same day as Archie’s fourth birthday. Therefore, the couple will have to decide which one gets priority. The response on social media, though, was very clear.

A large proportion of people were of the view that the pair should not attend since they had damaged their reputation with the public by attacking the firm. One person wrote: “They need to stay away from this important event!  Stop ruining everything you two users.”
