Royal biographer Robert Hardman claims William was furious about Prince Harry’s brazen attack on Kate Middleton in a Netflix documentary.
Prince Harry’s Comment Was Said to be About Princess Catherine
Prince Harry explained in his Netflix documentary,
“For male members of the royal family, there can be a temptation or an urge to marry someone who will fit the mold, as opposed to somebody you are perhaps destined to be with.”
The comment was thought to be about Princess Catherine and how Prince William knew she would fit in perfectly with the royal family and be someone who wouldn’t challenge the royal family’s authority.
Hardman’s new book, “Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story,” looks at Harry and William and the rift between them.
A source close to the palace said,
“On top of all the other breaches of trust, here was Harry making a blatant attack on Catharine. For William, this was the lowest of the low.”
The book also explains some “discussions” about what the Duke of Sussex said and whether it was a slight against William’s wife, Kate Middleton.
Kate has seen a lot of backlash from fans of Harry and Meghan and royal author Omid Scobie, who wrote the book, “Endgame.”
They say that she is the classic “Stepford wife” and that her purpose is to prop up William and serve the monarchy faithfully without any question or controversy.
This idea of Kate is quite contrived, as she has proven herself to be a great asset to the kingdom. People say these things because Kate has never been one to respond to criticism.
Kate Middleton Ignores Petty Gossip and Scandal
The Princess of Wales keeps her head down and gets on with it. This stance does not indicate her being a Stepford wife, but she is dignified and a class act. She does not wish to be involved in petty gossip or scandals.
William has also kept his mouth shut about Harry’s repeated attacks against him. It is just a classy way to handle things instead of mindlessly contributing to gossip, slander, and negativity.
The new royal book also revealed that Harry and Meghan upset Queen Elizabeth by using the name Lilabet for their daughter.
It was the Queen’s special childhood nickname; only her close family ever used it. Queen Elizabeth couldn’t pronounce her name when she was a little girl, so her family called her Lilabet.
Hardman’s book sheds light on the row over the name Lilabet. Harry and Meghan even threatened the BBC, claiming that they did not ask the Queen for permission to use the name Lilabet.
The couple threatened legal action against several well-known broadcasters and publishers. Harry omitted the incident from his book, “Spare.”
Since Princess Lilabet was born in June 2021, Harry and Meghan have brought their daughter to the UK only once.
Queen Elizabeth had always wanted to see her, but Harry and Meghan never brought her to the palace to spend time with the Queen. Sadly, the Queen never got to spend much time with her great-grandchild. The Sussex’s resentment towards the kingdom runs deep.
