Former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Rob Kardashian has reportedly dismissed his lawsuit against Blac Chyna.
Rob Kardashian Drops His Assault Lawsuit Against Blac Chyna For Their ‘Daughter’s Sake’
According to reports, Rob filed a lawsuit on the grounds that Black Chyna had apparently tried to strangle him by using the cord of an iPhone charger. This was on the back end of accusations that she had been consuming a lot of alcohol and drugs.
Although Rob managed to get away from the scene, it is then claimed that she had repeatedly hit him on the head and the face. As a result, Rob had allegedly suffered a neck injury.
Black Chyna denied doing anything of the sort, with the likelihood that a trial was going to go ahead. After all, two friends of Robert, Eugene Shpilsky and Victory Belz, were also alleged to have seen Black Chyna pointing a gun at Rob.
But now Rob has decided to let things go simply for the sake of their daughter. In an official statement, Rob said: “My love for Dream far outweighs my desire to proceed with my claims against her mother in a public trial.
“Now that the court has ruled that there is sufficient evidence to warrant a jury trial on my claim for assault, for our daughter’s sake, I am dismissing the action and focusing on my co-parenting relationship.”
Nevertheless, it is going to take a lot of effort before things return back to normal. Black Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, was of the view that this could have been avoided.
Not only was it unnecessary, her comments also suggested that the points raised within the lawsuit were not necessarily accurate.
In a statement, Lynne remarked: “Rob Kardashian should have thought of his daughter Dream before he filed his malicious and baseless assault and battery lawsuit.
“Rob has sought to use his wealth and power via this vexatious lawsuit to smear Chyna as a mother.” Hopefully, the pair of them can put this difficult ordeal behind them for the sake of their child.
Failure to do so will only aggravate the situation that has already brewed up a lot of emotions. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
