Rob, for his part, has had a lot on his plate recently. He was involved in a legal case against his ex Blac Chyna, which has now come to an end after her initial case and appeal were both dismissed.
While that may have been the case, it seems that Rob wanted to keep a low profile away from the media. Thus, he made the decision to skip the ceremony, rather than not having any desire to attend. A source said: “He is still very much private and prefers low-key celebrations where there aren’t a lot of photographers.
This is entirely understandable, as the media circus could have resulted in him being questioned about his legal victory against Blac. And as it was the biggest day of his sister’s life, this was hardly the place to bring up that topic.
After all, Blac had been accused of being violent to members of the Kardashian-Jenner family to the point where Blac was accused of threatened to kill ‘Kylie Jenner.’ And all this would have gotten Rob overwhelmed.
The source added: “He doesn’t like being in the spotlight. The whole affair would have been too much for him.” As such, there is no ill-will between Rob and Kourtney. That is why they have decided to make their own plans, which would be carried out once the couple are back from Italy.
And by the looks of it, Rob is delighted for the duo. The following comments confirmed as much: “He loves his sister very much and is so happy for her and Travis. He will celebrate with her in LA. He also hopped on FaceTime to chat with his sisters while they were in Italy.”
