Rihanna has become a mother for the first time after reports confirmed that she has had a baby boy with her beau A$AP Rocky.
Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Welcome Their First Child
The news was a long time coming, but in the period before this, the singer’s love life was very complicated indeed. False rumours had been propagated by fashion writer Louis Pisano, who had claimed that the couple had split up because of A$AP’s infidelity.
While he did apologise for spreading this false rumour, Rihanna’s relationship did not get any easier. A$AP was arrested on the grounds of ‘assault with a deadly weapon.’ But after having overcome those hurdles, the couple can now look forward to a new chapter within their lives.
And as part of that process, Rihanna has already given her fans a hint as to how she will approach parenting. In a prior interview with Elle, she said: “I feel like that’s the type of mom I’m going to be. Psycho about it.”
Much in the same way, A$AP will need to get his act together too. Although he was released on bail for his recent arrest, the very fact of the matter is that this is the last thing that Rihanna will need now that she has become a parent.
The couple have yet to release any official photos of their son, which is understandable given the news has just broken. And yet, that has not stopped the fans on social media from having their say.
A significant proportion of fans were delighted for the couple and wished them the best with their parental journey. Meanwhile, others could not understand why they did not release more information about their son.
One person wrote: “I still don’t understand why this trend of “not sharing the name of the child” when they are born is a thing. Most celebrities do this and it’s not that serious.”
