According to reports, the defendant had broken into her house with initial claims that it was an ex-boyfriend of Elizabeth’s.
Given that a SWAT team had apparently gotten involved, as the defendant was allegedly barricaded in the house, it is not surprising to hear that this incident has taken a toll on Elizabeth’s mental health.
In the pictures here, we can see that the SWAT team has arrived as they are fully armed with weapons and ready to fire. And in the other picture, a woman who looks to be Elizabeth can be seen in distress. And that feeling was confirmed by those around her.
David Weintraub, who happens to be her manager, told TMZ the following: “Liz is completely traumatized, and spent the entire night with police.”
It is not exactly clear why the defendant had decided to break into the house, but this is something that the police would be looking to get to the bottom of.
In the meantime, Elizabeth has reportedly been taking steps to ensure that she can get back to her usual self. And she will need the support of all those around her to be able to get through this.
And one particular housewife that could aid her is none other than Dorit Kemsley. The latter had also experienced a burglary last year, which left her suffering from mental health struggles.
In the meantime, Elizabeth had nothing but praise for the authorities that ultimately ended up saving her life. David added: “She is so thankful to the Newport Beach Police Department, and the officers who saved her from this terrible incident.
“She is looking forward to getting back to a normal life.” Hopefully, Elizabeth is able to overcome this incident and get back to enjoying her life.
Now that the authorities have gotten involved, it should give her some peace of mind knowing that the perpetrator will be brought to justice. So there you have it folks. What do you think?
