Dorit Kemsley has spoken out for the first time following the news that she had been burgled while being at home with her children.

The star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went through a terrible ordeal given that her husband PK Kemsley was not present at the scene. He had been overseas on some business-related work.
Therefore, she had to go through the trauma of it all by herself. Luckily for Dorit, though, no one was hurt during the incident. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Dorit thanked the fans who were there for her.
She said: “As you all know by now, I have been through a terrifying ordeal… I’ve received so many messages of love and support, and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It’s truly overwhelming.”
That did not mean that there was no damage. The intruders had managed to get away with many valuables that Dorit had cherished. Although no arrests have been made as of yet, the authorities have managed to account for the stuff which had gone missing.
In an official statement, the police said: “The suspects took handbags, jewellery, and watches with a significant monetary loss and fled the location in a black truck.”
Having said that, however, Dorit is not going to let this experience define her life. Although she has been left scarred by it, she is choosing to keep herself occupied to avoid getting stressed by it.
And with a good support network in place, with the presence of PK, she is already looking to the future. She added: “I have thrown myself into work.
“With the love and support of my husband, my incredible family, friends, fans and followers, I am confident this is the right thing to do.”
Dorit is showing a huge amount of bravery by putting herself back into the public eye. She may have good intentions in doing so, but there is a fear that she may be taking too much on. We will have to see how it will play out.
