Andy Cohen, who is best known for being the host of the The Real Housewives franchise, has revealed how he was almost punched on the show.

Andy, for his part, is used to dealing with controversy given that he is tasked with asking some of the most uncomfortable questions. While that has landed him with such popularity amongst the fans, it can sometimes be a dangerous affair.
And so it showed as Andy spoke on how former ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s husband, Kroy Biermann put so much fear into him that he felt in danger.
In a statement, the talk show host said: “I just remember Kroy yelling at me in the bathroom after the reunion. It was the only time during the whole run where I ever felt like I was going to get punched.”
So how serious was this? Well, there was potential for something to kick off. After all, Kroy had taken things a step further. It turns out that he had brought a gun to the set of the show.
Although it is not clear whether he had any intentions of using it, the very fact that he brought it suggests that he was not in the happiest of moods.
Naturally, Andy and Kroy would leave things on bad terms. And yet, not a lot is known about why Kroy was so incensed by Andy’s behaviour. The primary reason seems to be that Andy was only focusing on the negative side of Kim’s time on the show.
Therefore, he did not give Kim enough credit but was choosing to showcase her in a bad light for the sake of entertainment. Andy’s following comments confirmed as much: “I didn’t protect Kim enough, or focus on enough positive things that had happened to her that season on the show.”
Andy has to be mindful over what he says to the other cast members. If the shoe was on the other foot, he would probably feel the same way. With that in mind, it is safe to say that Andy and Kroy will not be on speaking terms anytime soon.
