Meghan Markle did not give a particularly friendly reaction to Rebel Wilson when they were first introduced.

In response to Andy Cohen’s query about whether she had met the royals before the meeting, Wilson replied that she hadn’t and that they were mutually acquainted through a friend. Wilson revealed the gathering was held in Santa Barbara, and that Prince Harry was very pleasant. However, when it came to Meghan, the same could not have been said.
In her comments, she said: “Meghan was not as cool. She wasn’t as naturally warm.” Wilson observed that Markle’s aloof conduct may have been a result of her Australian mother, Sue Bownds, inquiring somewhat impolite inquiries, like, “Where are your children?” This is understandable since Archie and Lilibet have not been seen in the public eye, aside from photos.
After all, the couple have made it clear that they were looking to avoid media intrusion. Rebel added: “And I’m like, ‘Mom, don’t ask her that. [Harry] could not have been nicer. Maybe that’s why she was like, ‘Who are these annoying convicts from Australia?”
Despite this being the case, the fans on social media made their position very clear. Large numbers of people were of the view that the Duchess of Sussex was not coming across as relatable, which is why her behavior appeared cold. Meanwhile, others simply began to bash Meghan’s failure to resonate with the wider public.
One person wrote: “Markle is a narcissist. She comes off with a fake personality… which is why her acting career never really took off.” It is fair to say that Rebel and Meghan may not be on the best of terms, which is just as well, given the reaction that has emerged to their interaction.
