Rebel Wilson and Jacob Busch have split after one year of dating each other. The actress confirmed the news on Tuesday.

She told her fans on Instagram: Lots on my mind…aghhhhhh…#single-girl-heading-to-Super-Bowl!'” So what was the reason for the split? Well, according to insiders, they no longer had a spark: “There wasn’t one incident that really happened to end things the relationship just ran its course and fizzled out.”
However, the physical distance between the two may have played a part: “They spent the holidays apart, and it was getting a little hard to make it work since Rebel lives in LA, and he lives in Palm Beach.” Nevertheless, the two continue to remain friends: “Rebel and Jacob may even end up hanging out together in the future. Jacob has a lot of love and respect for Rebel, and she’ll always hold a special place in his heart. He adored her.”
And clearly, Jacob loved her for who she was. In an Instagram session with her fans in 2019, she said: “He’s a very private person, so I don’t like to give away too much in that department. But I will say we dated before I started any of this health journey, as well as now. So that goes to show you, ladies: you don’t have to be a certain size to get a boyfriend.”It is sad to hear given that Rebel tried everything to find her special someone, including taking any date that was offered in one given year.
She told the Ant Middleton & Rebel Wilson: Straight Talking show: “It was part of the rules of that year, not that I told people that was happening. I just gave people a chance, and then I learnt lots about myself. I did an experiment where I dated anyone who asked me out. Don’t shut yourself off to love. I had lots of really good friends, but I never allowed myself to get into relationships until the last few years. Life is short, and you really have to go for it.”
And although it did not work out this time, the future looks bright. She is happy with her appearance and long may it continue.
