The Real Housewives of Orange County has seen a lot of transitions and recently, fans were shocked to see two of the brand new cast members leave the show! Jennifer Armstrong and Noella Bergener both began the sixteenth season of the show at the beginning of the year and now they are telling fans that they are officially done.

Real Housewives of Orange County: What Happened?

The women made the announcement that they would be leaving the show after this season. They both used Instagram to make the announcement and posted back to back to notify their fans. Armstrong, who is a working mother, told her fans that she was very grateful to be on the show and she liked being able to share her story with others.

She was also happy that she could give a very modern take on the family unit and having children and working. She finished up by saying, “My family and my work are the most important aspects of my life, so I am stepping away from RHOC and focusing on them.”

Then Bergener followed with, “After a wild season of ups and downs, I will not be returning to RHOC. I am so grateful to Bravo, Andy, Cohen, and Evolution Media for giving me this incredible platform to share my story. Thank you to all of the fans for all of the love and support during quite possibly the hardest year of my life. I am looking forward to brighter skies ahead, and can’t wait to share what’s next.”

Armstrong had a tough year and her exit comes a few months after filing for legal separation from her husband, Ryne Holliday. Their marital issues were explored on the show and it seemed as if being on the show could have made it worse. The couple is very sad about the separation because of the three children they have together, but they are doing the best that they can right now.

Bergener was a one-of-a-kind housewife! She was not only Black, but also openly bisexual. This was a first for the show and she got a very warm reception from fans. She had to actually go through her break-up when the cameras were on! Her husband ended up filing for a divorce while he was in Puerto Rico. The couple had been living there, but she went back to Orange County to film the show.

What is it about the show that makes women want to leave? We have seen a lot come and go in Orange County and we wish these two the best.
