Braunwyn Windham-Burke has revealed how she has been left reeling from Andy Cohen’s reaction in the aftermath of her exit from The Real Housewives of Orange County.

The star had faced a lot of scrutiny on the show. Her relationship with Sean Burke raised many eyebrows, given the fact that Braunwyn came out as a lesbian, and yet, the duo continued to stay married. Not only that, but people began to question whether Braunwyn’s sobriety was even real.

The housewives, particularly Kelly Dodd, felt that Braunwyn was putting on a story for the cameras. In an interview with Us Weekly, Braunwyn said how she still feels a lot of regret over her exit. She said: “It still sucks. I was really looking forward to showing the other side. You know, I got very raw this last year with sobriety, and I think everyone could tell I was struggling and how hard it was.”

And things were made all the more difficult in light of Andy’s reaction. The talk show host was very candid on how he noticed that Braunwyn was not the same woman that she was. He referred to the tension between her and the other housewives. This could be seen through the stand-off between Braunwyn and Elizabeth Lyn Vargas.

Much like Kelly, Elizabeth questioned Braunwyn’s sobriety. However, unlike Kelly, she believed that Bruanwyn still had substance issues despite not drinking alcohol. Therefore, the implication was that Braunwyn may have been dabbling with other substances.

Naturally, Andy had to have his say on the matter. In an interview on the Heather Dubrow’s World, Andy stated: “Listening to [Braunwyn] at the reunion made [us] feel like, maybe at this moment in time, being on TV wasn’t the healthiest spot..she was dealing with some real stuff…It was a lot.”

Those comments really hit deep, as Braunwyn admitted that Andy was someone she was very close to. And yet, following those comments, she stated that she was no longer on speaking terms with him. She revealed: “I haven’t spoken to him. I think that’s what hurt me so much. I was not in the healthiest place at the reunion.”
