Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are making it pretty clear that they are not interested in Joe and Melissa Gorga’s supposed marital problems, no matter how “real” it may look in front of the cameras.
While some fans think that Melissa and Joe are faking it, others are simply changing the channel. Here’s what you need to know.
For many long seasons, Joe and Melissa were the Garden State’s golden couple, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
They’ve been fighting on camera more and more, while speaking to each other nicely less and less. Yet, there aren’t many people out there who find this riveting reality television enough to care.
Real Housewives of New Jersey: Here’s What Fans Really Think About Joe And Melissa Gorga’s Marriage
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for both fans and critics to weigh in on the matter.
Many of them took to social media to write, “Trust Bravo to make much ado about nothing. Married couples fight all the time, especially when the script says they should,” along with, “Looks like Little Joey has been feeling a bit left out and convinced Production to have a whole show revolving around his unfounded jealousy and possessiveness. Melissa should just kick him to the curb and find a real man. This kind of jealousy is suffocating and NOT normal.”
Another critic wrote, “Well, I get their issues. I have no issue with women who have the luxury to choose to stay at home with their children calling it a job. It’s exhausting and I know that I could not mentally handle it. Where I tend to add a side eye is when a SAHM complains about her job while having at least one nanny on staff.”
Earlier this season, there was a report that said fans were pissed over Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga’s “fake” cheating storyline.
In a preview for the show, Teresa Giudice is seen on the phone saying, “Last night, the owner of the restaurant asked Melissa for her number,” with the camera panning to Melissa on her phone texting. But in a preview that aired Wednesday night for the upcoming third episode of the season, a voiceover states, “The ladies prank Joe,” and the action cuts toward Teresa saying, “Last night, this guy asked Melissa for her number.”
