Erika Jayne has opened up on how she was dismissed from her ex-husband Tom Girardi’s care plan which involved him being placed in a care facility for people suffering from dementia.

The duo may not be together, but that does not mean that Erika does not want to have a say. After all, they were together for 22 years.
Not only that, but the pair have been accused of embezzling funds from victims of a plane crash that has resulted in a lawsuit. Therefore, Erika wants to make sure that Tom is in the best possible condition should he be declared guilty.
During an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika was angered over how such a decision could be taken without having her on board.
She said: “It [an article] says that they want to put him in a mental facility for, you know, people that have dementia. It’s on Page Six, so that’s a big turn of events, guys.”
Despite Erika no longer being a part of Tom’s life, she felt that the decision should have involved her. This, though, could be argued both ways. First of all, there is a conflict of interest given that Erika and Tom are involved in a lawsuit.
As such, if one party turned out to be guilty at the expense of the other, then it cannot be possible for Erika to be involved in Tom’s care plan. And yet, the fact that Erika had just recently split from him should count for something.
She added: “I may be getting a divorce from this man, but that does not mean I have divorced myself from caring for another human being who clearly cannot care for themselves.
“I certainly don’t want him in some facility where he’s not taken care of.” Regardless of what happens to Tom, it is clear that he is in a difficult position.
Even if he is removed from that facility, he will be at the mercy of the court system which looks to be on the verge of finding him and Erika guilty. We will have to see how this will all play out.
