‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Spoilers: Cynthia Bailey Explains Why NeNe Leakes Was Absent From her Wedding
Cynthia told the site, “I really would have loved NeNe and Gregg to come to the wedding. Although we’re not in the best place right now, I want to believe that regardless of that, she is happy for me, and she is happy that I found Mike. I really felt in my heart…it felt actually wrong not to extend the invite.”
Cynthia continued, “Now whether she chose to come or not, that’s completely up to her. But I felt like I wanted to invite my old friend to be a part of my special day. And I was completely fine with whatever she was fine with.”
Of course, it didn’t take very long for RHOA fans and critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them took to their social media accounts to comment with, “That wedding was the last place Gregg needed to be. He is in a high risk category for more than one reason,” along with, “The only thing Cynthia has going for her is her looks. Everything else about her is embarrassing.”
Another an pointed out, “She and Nene are not friends, so why invite her? Cynthia is the worst friend to have. She will always go with the herd. This marriage will be another fiasco in less than 5 yrs. Her wedding was a gross display of tone deafness and that Bachelorette party sounds like a gross affair. All created to drum up interest in a show that desperately, imo, needs put out to pasture, along with OC.”
