Ray J, otherwise known as William Ray Norwood Jr, sent his fanbase into a frenzy, as he posted about having suicidal thoughts.
Ray J Worries Fans After Posting About Having Suicidal Thoughts-‘SHOULD I JUST JUMP’
This was shocking to say the least, especially since Ray J’s life appears to be in a very good place. He is romantically involved with Princess Love, with whom he shares two children: Melody Love and Epik Ray. Therefore, the last thing you would expect people to see is the star expressing some concerns with his mental health.
And naturally that left a lot of people worried. In a post to his fans on Instagram at the time, he said: “If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump off and die tonight,” as well as adding: “SHOULD I JUST JUMP off and end it rit [sic]. Now!!! ????”
This naturally begs the question: what could have led Ray J to do this? Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could have been due to the following reasons.
First of all, he has been involved in a dispute with Kris Jenner as he accused her and Kim Kardashian of working together to release his and Kim’s sex tape in 2007. And given that Ray J’s credibility had been called into question surrounding that, this may have been hard to take.
Secondly, even if we argue that it was due to this, we are not likely to know for now since Ray J has not given an official statement in response. And yet, things do appear to be fine for now. A source confirmed the following: “Everything is OK.”
Nevertheless, the fans on social media could not help but feel worried. And in the process of doing so, they sent some very warm words. One person wrote: “Sending prayers of strength to Ray J & I hope he has people in his corner showering him with love and support.”
