Rapper Wavy Navy, otherwise known as Shandler Beaubien, has reportedly been shot dead.
Rapper Wavy Navy Shot Dead After His Car Had Been Ambushed
Reports indicate that the rapper was driving in his car, alongside his two children and another woman during which he was ambushed and then shot dead. It is claimed that a car had decided to pull up next to his after which somebody began to aim fire at him.
While the children and the woman did not suffer any injuries, the very fact of the matter is that the incident has left them with a lot of trauma which is going to take time before it disappears.
An investigation is currently being held in order to determine whether or not somebody can be held to account. As of now, the investigation has failed to result in a suspect being identified or a motive being established.
And yet, the circumstances of the killing could suggest that it was a targeted attack for the following reasons. First of all, the perpetrators had an opportunity to kill everybody inside the vehicle.
However, by deciding not to harm the children as well as the other woman, it demonstrates that they were clearly trying to go after the rapper.
After all, by opening fire in such a manner, they could have easily killed everybody else inside the vehicle but refrained from doing so.
Secondly, in any event, Wavy Navy is known for his music which often depicts gun crime. His most famous song entitled ‘M.I.A.M.I.’ is known for showing a murder scene at which the police arrive.
And it is not out of the realm of possibility that Wavy Navy became a victim of some form of gun/gang crime, as there have been many instances of rappers that have seen their music often turn into real life.
The response on social media was one of sadness, as once again, it demonstrated that a person had gone before their time in a shooting that could have been avoided. One person on Twitter wrote: “May he rest in power, sorry to hear.”
