Rapper Lil Nas X has revealed that he turned down the opportunity to attend a party held by Beyoncé.

The star has made no secret over the fact that he is one of Beyoncé’s biggest fans. So much so that he has even performed Beyoncé tributes during his concerts. While that may have been the case, it was not enough to sway him to attend her party.
But rather than this being based upon a dislike for the star, Nas decided to put his own fans first. This was because the invitation to attend the party coincided with one of his shows.
With that being said, Nas decided to perform instead even though he was tempted to skip it for the party. During an interview with E! News, he said: “I’ve actually been invited to come to one of her Renaissance parties and that was super dope.
“I think it was on the day of one of the shows and I was like, “do I completely leave my fans stranded and don’t come to the show to see Beyoncé or not,’ but you know I couldn’t.”
Despite that being the case, Nas made it very clear that he does hope to be given another opportunity to attend. In addition, he admitted that he is a massive fan of her album ‘Renaissance’ by having it on repeat.
He singled out the following two tracks, ‘Church Girl’ and ‘Heated,’ as his favourites by going on to state that the album makes him feel ‘liberated.’ The fans on social media praised the star for his loyalty.
A certain subset of people felt that they would not have blamed him if he had decided to skip the concert for the party, but in not doing so, they valued him even more. One person wrote: “It’s also cute he loves his fans that much tho.”
