    Queen Elizabeth

Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly desperate to see Prince Harry’s daughter Lilibet in the flesh.

That is according to Royal author Brian Hoey. The chances of this happening are very slim for the following reasons. First of all, Harry has already made it clear that he does not want to return to the UK unless his security concerns are alleviated.

After all, he wants to make sure that he can fund his own security just like he has been able to do overseas. Secondly, given Harry is set to release his memoir this year, if Harry does decide to reveal incriminating information about the Royal family, then that will not help things.

Thirdly, as it is the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year which aims to celebrate her 70th year in charge, not all of the Royal family may be happy to see him in light of his behaviour following his exit in 2020.

And yet, for Tom, he believes that the monarch wants to see Lilibet at all costs. In an interview with The Express, he said: “I have heard from people I know within the Royal Household, she really would desperately like to see the baby in this way.

“I think she would love to, I wonder whether it is going to happen, I would love to think it could.” This is hardly a surprise given the background information.

Not only is the Queen going through health struggles, she has managed to see all of her grandkids except for Lilibet. In addition, she is not going to get many chances to see her especially since she is not getting any younger.

And if a meeting were to go ahead, it could finally repair the broken relations that the Royal family have had with Harry of late. Tom added: “I am absolutely sure the Queen holds no feelings of disapproval towards Harry and Meghan, none whatsoever, she would certainly welcome them back if they came.”

Time will tell whether Harry and Meghan Markle do return to the UK. After all, the ball is firmly in their court now. So there you have it. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
