British Royal News says that there are a lot of critics out there who believe that Prince William and Kate Middleton are doing the right thing by not retaliating against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, despite all of the things that they said about them in the Netflix docuseries, Harry and Meghan. Instead, they’ve managed to keep a dignified silence throughout the chaos and the storm. Here’s what you need to know.
William and Kate are doing their best to keep calm and carry on, as the saying goes. Royal expert Ingrid Seward put it this way, “Other family members are being supportive, especially the duty-bound King and Queen, who understand how the accusations in Harry and Meghan’s extensive Netflix interviews have been incredibly hurtful. Rather than stooping to their level, they have applauded the couple’s decision not to retaliate in any way. ”

If that weren’t enough, the Princess of Wales feels particularly upset that Harry has betrayed her in the way that he has, seeing how they were once very close. An told Us Weekly, “Kate feels hurt and betrayed that Harry would do this to her, too, especially as the pair used to be so close.”
The tipster went on to say that William “isn’t planning to give his side of the story or openly retaliate. He’s remaining dignified and is getting on with the job.”
During the Netflix series Harry and Meghan, Harry said, “I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology. My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next.”
“Everything that’s happened to us, was always going to happen to us,” he added. “Because if you speak truth to power, that’s how they respond.”
If that weren’t enough, the Duke of Sussex branded his brother a massive liar. According to Netflix’s Harry and Meghan, a joint statement was issued on the day of the Sandringham meeting branding a front-page story about the brothers’ relationship as false, offensive and potentially harmful. However Harry says he was not consulted about the statement: “Once I got in the car after the meeting, I was told about a joint statement that had been put out in my name and my brother’s name, squashing the story about him bullying us out of the family.”
