Prince William is an official “Swiftie” as he and his children, George and Charlotte posed for a selfie with Taylor Swift. The royal father and his excited kids were seen with enormous grins from ear to ear, standing next to Taylor in the photo.
William, George, And Charlotte Went To See Taylor Swift Perform
Taylor performed on June 21st at Wembley Stadium. Her American football player boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was also there to enjoy the show.
The adorable picture was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official X account, and the caption read:
“Thank you Talyor Swift for a great evening!”
The pop icon also took a picture with the royals and Travis. “Happy Birthday M8! London shows are off to a splendid start,” in a message to William for his birthday.
Prince William and Talyor go way back. They both were on the stage at Kensington Palace to play “Livin’ On A Prayer” along with Jon Bon Jovi at a charity affair in 2013.
Yesterday, the armed forces band at Buckingham Palace performed a version of “Shake it Off” during the changing of the guard to celebrate the Eras tour coming to London.
William talked about his experience of performing with Swift and said that he “obeyed like a puppy” when Talyor insisted he take the stage.
What Prince William Said About Getting Onstage with Taylor

“I can’t believe I’m actually telling you this story. I turn up and Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift are at the event, which nearly knocked me off my feet. And then I went inside, met everybody, a lot of handshaking to do those nights, a lot of chatting. I try to be charming and interactive. She puts her hand on my arm, looks me in the eye, and says, ‘Come on, William, let’s go and sing!’ To this day, I still do not know what came over me. Honestly, even now, I’m cringing at what happened next, and I don’t understand why I gave in. But frankly, if Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm, and says, ‘Come with me,’ I got up like a puppy and went: ‘Yeah ok. That seems like a great idea. I’ll follow you.’ I walked up onstage in a trance then sort of halfway through Livin’ On a Prayer song, I wake up.”
William Dances To “Shake It Off”
William was later spotted dancing like a dad to Talyor’s hit song, “Shake It Off.”
Taylor is not only a major star but also a kind and loving person. She reportedly made a very generous donation to the people of Liverpool and didn’t tell anyone. She donated to the St. Andrews Community Network.
The non-profit charity provides food banks and community food pantries across Liverpool. Talyor’s team did not announce her donation. Rich Jones, the community network’s chief executive, wanted to praise Taylor for her generosity.
The Prince of Wales and his children, George and Charlotte, were among 90,000 people in the crowd at Wembley Stadium to watch a true artist at work. Prince Louis, who was a no-show, is said to have stayed behind to keep his mother, Kate Middleton, company as she recovers from her cancer treatment.
