Today, Prince Harry won a massive payout from the Sun’s publisher, along with an apology for intruding into his personal life.

News Group Newspapers Issued An Apology To Prince Harry

After an extended six-year battle, News Group Newspapers expressed their regret that they used private investigators to fish for private details about him and his family.

The question remains: did Harry get what he wanted out of this? Settling out of court means the Duke was likely robbed of justice to the fullest extent.

First, the settlement amount may be less than what a court would award to the plaintiff. He also can’t pursue legal claims that would have been made in a court of law regarding a corporate cover-up.

Prince Harry probably didn’t care about the money as much as getting his day in court. He wanted the newsgroup to take responsibility for everything they did to him.

Harry said last month why he was going up against Murdoch press.

“The scale of the cover up is large that people need to see it for themselves.”

A spokesperson for Harry said in a statement,

“The time for accountability has arrived,”

They exclaimed. They wanted the police to investigate what they clarified was the

    “Unlawful activity finally admitted”

    and the

“Perjury and cover-ups along the way.”

It is understood that Harry won an impressive sum of ten million pounds. However, he must use most of the money for legal fees.

It’s not the justice he wanted. Harry had vowed that he would refuse to settle out of court. The Sun’s publisher admitted that between 1996 and 2011, they sent private investigators to gather information about Harry illegally.

Prince Harry also sought justice for his late mother, Princess Diana, who was also mercilessly harassed by the press, and her privacy was invaded.

Outside the courthouse, barrister David Sherborne affirmed that

“This historic admission of guilt had been achieved only through the sheer resilience of Prince Harry.”

It came as no surprise that an agreement was reached before Harry’s case had a chance to be heard in court. His battle with the tabloids involved his adult life and his childhood.

Prince Harry’s legal team also reported the claim that

“The Sun, the flagship title for Rupert Murdoch’s UK media empire, had indeed engaged in illegal practices.”

Newspaper Group Newspapers only admitted that the private investigators collected private information about Harry but neglected to mention the Sun’s journalists.

Some unscrupulous methods by which the tabloid obtained information included phone hacking, surveillance, and the misappropriation of private information by journalists and private investigators.

The statement that Harry’s legal team made about those creating a “toxic culture” in the media, in the past and present, and there was a corporate cover-up, will now never be heard in court.

Newspaper Group Newspapers denies claims of a cover-up and the extermination of evidence. However, Harry and his lawyers were prepared to dispute this alleged prevarication in court.

The explosive case against Newspaper Group Newspapers is over without real justice and little compensation for Harry. Will he be satisfied with the outcome? We highly doubt it.
