Royal expert Nile Gardner has alleged that Prince Harry’s insistence on a personal apology from Prince William and King Charles III reeks of narcissism.
Prince Harry’s Insistence On An Apology Is Just ‘Breathtaking Narcissism,’ Says Nile Gardener
It is believed that neither of them plan to issue an apology to Harry prior to the Coronation that is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023. Reports suggest that William is enraged at the way his wife, Kate Middleton, has been portrayed in Harry’s book, Spare.
One such example was Harry claiming that William and Kate had a part to play in him wearing the infamous Nazi uniform. Not only that, but he accused the couple of also stereotyping his wife, Meghan Markle, as a bi-racial, divorced, American actress.
The Duke of Sussex was also scathing of William, alleging that he had assaulted him, which caused the former to fall over a dog bowl. This was in addition to claims that William had shouted and screamed at him over a meeting about Megxit.
And given that so much has been aired publicly, Nile could not comprehend why Harry would demand an apology, given that he was the one that had been so vocal about his family. In his comments, Nile said: “[It’s] breathtaking narcissism.
“The arrogance and narcissism of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is just breathtaking. Harry and Meghan should be apologising to the King, Prince William, the Royal Family and the British people for their vicious campaign of lies and disinformation.”
The social media response was equally damning. Large numbers of people could not fathom why Harry had grievances against the firm, given they had gone out of their way to make the couple feel welcome. One person wrote: “I’d like Harry to spell out in detail just exactly why he believes The King and William, Prince of Wales should apologize.”
