Prince Harry’s Friends Thought He Was Mad For Dating Meghan-‘Harry Must Be F***ing Nuts’
That is according to Royal author Tom Bower in his book entitled ‘Meghan, Harry and the war between the Windsor’s.’ Tom alleges that this whole incident played out during an event Harry had at Sandringham in 2016.
During the course of that process, Harry had apparently invited 16 friends, most of whom were friends he had made from Eton. But it appears that Meghan did not leave the best of impressions with them, with claims that she had gone a little overboard in trying to remain politically correct when it came to their jokes.
In his book, Tom wrote: “Their jokes, involving sexism, feminism and transgender people, ricocheted…Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values.
“According to Harry’s friends, again and again she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt.” That is when things began to get out of hand. What should have been a celebratory moment of Meghan getting to know Harry’s friends, turned out to be anything but that.
As a result, it is alleged that a certain number of them began to get outraged by the Duchess of Sussex’s behaviour. And one such particular person was alleged to have said the following: “Harry must be f***ing nuts.”
The response on social media was mixed. A certain subset of people were of the view that Harry made the wrong decision to marry Meghan. Meanwhile, others felt that Meghan was a better fit for the Royal family than Kate Middleton.
One person wrote: “Princeless Harry didn’t marry well,” while another person stated: “Translation, she was more qualified and did better than in over her head gold digger #KateMiddleton and #PrinceWilliam couldn’t have that.”
