According to royal correspondent Robert Jobson, Prince Harry may face a significant issue as he revealed that he consumed drugs.
Prince Harry’s Drug Admissions Could Get Him In Trouble
As per the US immigration regulations, individuals who have acknowledged using drugs are disqualified from obtaining visas. Therefore, this disclosure could potentially create a problematic situation for the prince.
According to reports, Harry allegedly smoked cannabis with Tyler Perry and consumed magic mushrooms at Courtney Cox’s residence, mentioning that these incidents occurred in the United States.
Jobson has warned that Harry could face severe consequences if he provided false information on his visa application.
During the process of filling out forms for a trip to the US with photographer Arthur Edwards, Jobson discovered that drug-related offenses can result in being denied entry to the country.
In his comments, he said: “On it, it’s pretty damn clear ‘have you taken drugs’ and all these things, and basically, if you have, you haven’t got a prayer of getting a visa.
“If he’s lied on the form that would be a really serious problem for him.” The Heritage Foundation is urging for the disclosure of Harry’s visa application to the public, as it is essential for American taxpayers to be aware of whether or not he revealed his drug use.
In the United States, individuals who provide false information to immigration authorities can be subjected to serious penalties, including expulsion from the country and disqualification from pursuing citizenship due to the strict laws governing US immigration.
Mike Howell, the leader of the Oversight Project at the Heritage Foundation, has emphasized that any inquiry regarding Harry’s visa status should be thorough and comprehensive.
The reason for this demand is because of worries about the likelihood of his visa being revoked due to drug consumption, and doubts about whether the correct screening measures were carried out prior to his arrival in the US. It is believed that this data is significant to the public.
Therefore, this could be problematic. Jobson’s following comments confirmed as much: “There’s not been an awful lot of thought gone into this, but the fact is that if that form has been signed and he’s lied on it, he has got a problem.”
