Prince Harry has recently visited King Charles in the UK after learning that his father has cancer. Seeing him is not out of the question, even though his brother, Prince William, doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Harry Has Offered to Take On Royal Duties While His Father is Recovering
While Harry will return to the UK to see Charles again, maybe even soon, he should not bring Meghan Markle with him. Harry has even offered to take on royal duties while Charles is recovering.
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has suggested that Harry and Meghan will probably never be allowed to resume working as royals. However, when Harry returns to the UK to visit, he should be alone.
Hypothetically, if Harry and Meghan were to return as working royals, it would accomplish nothing but stir up publicity. Even though it wouldn’t necessarily suit the royal family, it would be the British tabloid’s dream come true.
The presence of Harry and Meghan would turn the monarchy into a royal spectacle. It would be like watching reality TV if they were to return.
This is why Harry should return silently, without much fanfare, and without Meghan. Harry wants to see his family, but it would be too disruptive if he brought Meghan along.
The main reason Prince William doesn’t trust Harry is Meghan and Harry’s perceived behavior when defending himself and his wife.
The Duke of Sussex has trash-talked the royals left and right. Oprah interviewed Harry and Meghan; they claimed that someone in the royal family had worries about how dark their son Archie’s skin would be.
Harry and William Fought About Meghan
When he wrote his tell-all memoir, “Spare,” he disclosed much private information about his family. He recounted a heated argument that Willam and Harry had over Meghan in which Harry claims that William tossed Harry into the dog’s bowl, cutting his body.
Omid Scobie, who has been dubbed “Meghan’s mouthpiece,” wrote in his book, “Endgame” about the so-called “royal racists.”
Scobie made a massive publishing “mistake” in the Dutch version of the book when he revealed the two royals who supposedly made these offensive remarks to be none other than King Charles and William’s wife, Kate Middleton.
The royal family doesn’t trust Harry. They haven’t since he married Meghan. So, if the Duke were to come to see his father, it would be best if the Duchess was not involved.
That being said, the idea of Harry returning to work for the monarchy in any capacity is not feasible. If he returned, people would not take the royals seriously. It would be almost impossible to explain.
Not to mention, Harry would be leaving his family in California. It wouldn’t make any sense. Many wonder whether Harry will soon bring his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilabet, for a visit with their grandfather. That may be possible, as Charles would love to spend time with his grandchildren.
The situation is very fragile, and the issues won’t likely be solved anytime soon. The one thing that the Firm will not tolerate is anything that will interfere with or compromise the dignity of the royal family.
