It has been said that Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, will be featured on Stephen Colbert’s show once again.
Prince Harry Will Allegedly Appear On Stephen Colbert’s Show Again-‘Give Us A Break’
Earlier in January, the prominent US late night television presenter, Mr Colbert, interviewed the prince with regards to his upcoming memoir, Spare. During the course of that process, they had a skit involving Tom Hanks that showed the latter being introduced via a royal fanfare, as Harry watched on.
Not only that, but Colbert and Harry were pictured together, showing some drinks on Harry’s table that appeared to be tequila. But this time around, R.S. Locke, an author, declared on Twitter that Harry will appear on Mr Colbert’s program on February 28th, 2023 but it will be a pre-taped segment.
It was reported that the ex-royal would feature in the “Colbert Questionert” portion, generally featuring the host posing a wide assortment of queries to his visitors – from harmless to cheeky. In his comments, Locke said: “We’ll see if Stephen sticks to his standard questions or goes off script.”
This arrives amid the news that the Sussexes may not be present at King Charles III’s Coronation. And as part of that process, there is a feeling that the couple could divert the attention away from the ceremony with interviews such as this.
In addition, given that it is Archie’s 4th birthday at the same time as the coronation, the couple may want to take that opportunity to focus on their children. The response on social media was very clear. A certain subset of people could not fathom why Harry would continue to talk to the media, knowing that he was not happy with the amount of intrusion into this life.
And in the process, the comments were very brutal indeed. One person wrote: “Enough. This is a couple who left royal life for a supposed “private life” – and they haven’t stopped talking. Give us a break.”
